Dr Kiran Swaraj is a clinical and imaging cardiologist who is partly relocating to Randwick, having practiced in the Northwest and Southern regions of Sydney for the past 5 years. She has completed her Physician’s training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney where she was appointed Chief Medical Resident and was responsible for Medical registrar training. She went on to complete her Cardiology and Echocardiography Fellowships at RPAH and furthered her experience at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney where she worked in the fields of cardiac transplantation, severe heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. An additional area of expertise is her dual training in Nuclear Medicine and PET.

Her interests include prevention and management of CAD, with an emphasis on minimally invasive modalities. She has a particular interest in choosing the correct initial tools for detection and comprehensive management of CAD, especially in women. In addition to general cardiology consultation, Dr Swaraj will provide echocardiography, exercise testing, holter/event monitoring, ambulatory BP monitoring, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology services. Dr Swaraj is multilingual and is also able to communicate in Hindi and Marathi.
