Dr. Kiran Sarathy is a coronary and structural interventional cardiologist with hospital appointments at Prince of Wales Hospital, Eastern Heart Clinic, and Gosford Hospital. He joined Randwick Cardiology after returning home to Sydney following time pursuing subspeciality training overseas. He received his MBBS (UNSW) in 2010 and FRACP in 2017 and subsequently completed fellowships in Canada (Ottawa Heart Institute), the UK (Barts Heart Centre) and Australia (Prince of Wales) with an honorary designation in intervention cardiology from his time in Canada (DRCPSC). He has accreditation from the Conjoint Committee for Reporting Cardiac CT in Australia.  He also has attained a Masters in Clinical Trials Research (USyd) and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Conjoint member of UNSW staff in recognition of his interest in tertiary medical education. He has a strong interest in cardiovascular disease prevention, coronary intervention including PCI, structural heart procedures including TAVI, PFO & ASD closure, cardiac CT, as well as research and medical education.
